Zoom, Allow viewers to download Zoom recordings with share link

This article describes how to tailor your Zoom share link to allow viewers the ability to download.

Please follow the steps below to allow viewers to download your Zoom recordings.

  1. Navigate to https://illinois.zoom.us/recording and sign in.
    Instructions on how to log into Illinois Zoom can be found at: Zoom, Logging In

  2. Under the Cloud recordings tab, find the meeting recording you wish to share.

  3. Click the Share arrow button on the far right side of the specified recording.

    Or, click the Name of the meeting and go to the Share button in the upper right corner.

  4. On the Share menu, click on the gear icon in the upper right, then ensure that 'Viewers can download' is checked and click Save.

  5. To share the link to the recording with all meeting invitees, select + All meeting Invitees on the Share menu. If you wish to only share the meeting with certain participants, enter their addresses manually in the bar.

    Then click Add as Viewers.

  6. Recipients of the share invite will be sent an email from no-reply@zoom.us indicating a meeting recording was shared with their account. Users can click the Watch now button to view the recording.
