This document provides directions for determining if you have a 32-bit, 64-bit, or ARM-based processor of Windows.
  1. Click the Windows icon in the bottom left of your screen.
  2. Open Settings. If you do not see the Settings icon in the Windows menu, you can search for it in the search bar.
  3. Click System tab on the left-hand side.
  4. Scroll down and click the About section.
  5. Under Device specifications, look for System type.
  6. Next to the System type entry, you will see if you have a 32-bit or a 64-bit operating system.
    • For the System type of ARM processors, it should say some variation of "ARM-based processor."
