WebStore, Adobe Student Licensing – Illinois (Urbana) Campus

Free access for Adobe Creative Cloud student subscriptions ended on December 31, 2025. Annual student licenses for Creative Cloud and Acrobat Studio are available to purchase from WebStore.

Effective January 1, 2025

Due to budget constraints, the free Adobe Creative Cloud access provided to Illinois students since 2022 ended on December 31, 2025.

Students can purchase subscriptions through the Webstore for both Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Acrobat Studio. The annual subscription term starts and ends on June 30th and is prorated quarterly.

Looking Ahead

  • Thanks to the university’s preferred licensing agreement, Adobe applications will continue to be offered at a fraction of the standard academic price ($30/yr for Acrobat Studio and $80/yr for Creative Cloud instead of $300 and $420 annual cost).

Renewal Reminders

  • Students with an active Adobe subscription from WebStore will receive an email notification near renewal time.

  • You can also log in to your WebStore account at any time and search for “Adobe” to check for new offers.

For student employees

Student employees (including graduate appointments) are not eligible for staff licenses. They may purchase a personal Adobe student license for themselves in the WebStore catalog or they may request a department-sponsored Adobe Student Employee license. Please contact your supervisor for details.
