Getting Started with Google Apps @ Illinois

How to enable Google Apps @ Illinois account services, and how to log in.

If you are faculty, staff, or a student, you are eligible to create a Google Apps @ Illinois account through the Cloud Dashboard.

If you choose to enable Google Apps @ Illinois services for your account, you will have the ability to use online tools like Google Docs and Sites to collaborate or store documents online.

  1. Navigate to Cloud Dashboard

  2. Sign in using your NetID & password

  3. Click the "On" button for Google Apps @ Illinois, below "Service."

  4. Review the Terms of Service and press the "Accept" button. Your account status will display as "On."

  5. Sign in to your new Google Apps account by clicking on the "Google Apps @ Illinois" Cloud Dashboard link

Note: The first time that you log in to your Google Apps @ Illinois account, you will be required to accept the Google Terms of Service; These are Terms associated with Google services and are different from the University of Illinois Terms & Services you may have you agreed to for access to other campus services.
