Tips:  

Take advantage of free or inexpensive software at the webstore (some can be kept after you graduate) 

If you need wireless internet access on campus, use IllinoisNet. 

To access scholarly articles or department servers from off-campus, connect to the VPN first. 

Store important data in multiple locations!

When reporting issues, please include information on: room number, the department you belong to, and if applicable- the name of the computer. (We also appreciate descriptive information!) 

Ask us about remote desktop access!
