Mobius View vs Rocket Content Explorer

Features comparison between Mobius View and the new Rocket Content Explorer interface.
Features Mobius View Rocket Content Explorer
Main menu The main menu was a fixed navigation menu at the left of the screen. The main menu is no longer fixed. Pin or unpin the main menu per user preference.
Settings and Help icons These icons were located at the bottom of the fixed navigation menu. These icons are now located at the top right of the screen.
Views in the Browse panel The content view was the default, and the tree view was the other view option. The tree view is now the default for easier navigation of all information in a repository.
Locate content panel rename and replacement The Browse panel in tree view displayed the Locate content button. Clicking this button opened an overlay panel called Locate on top of the Browse panel. This button is renamed to Find content. For a streamlined interface, the Find panel is now seamlessly integrated into the Browse panel.
Browse toolbar icons The Browse toolbar icons (Favorite, Collect, Print, Download, Refresh) were displayed below the Browse title bar.

The
Share command was represented by a Share icon for each item in the content class.

To access this icon on the
Browse panel, click the ellipsis icon for a selected item.
The Favorite, Collect, Print, Download, Share, and Refresh commands are now located on the Actions panel.

Other Actions also appear and might be based on Mobius licensed options and/or restrictions from your Mobius Administrator.
Toolbar lite functionality (Favorite, Collect, Print, Download) By default, certain actions were displayed only after clicking the ellipsis icon. These commonly used actions appear when a user hovers over a report or document. These hover-exposed options might change based on context. "Toolbar lite" functions are also available from Search screens.
Right-click menu for repository items On the Browse panel, hovering over each content class item displayed the Favorite and Collect icons by default. Clicking the ellipsis icon displayed additional menu items for selection. Clicking each item on the Browse panel opens the Actions panel and displays the Favorite and Collect commands on the Actions panel.
Functionality Original features are retained. Browse and Search panels are revamped with additional interface updates. For more information about these panels, see the "Major features announcement" section of the Mobius 12.4 release notes.

The underlying functionality for
