KnowledgeBase - Do you want your own KnowledgeBase for your department?
The University of Illinois KnowledgeBase (KB) consists of Group Spaces (example: answers.uillinois.edu/systemoffices) all directed to a Unified Space (answers.uillinois.edu).
The Unified Space (https://answers.uillinois.edu) receives all public KB documents from all the Group Spaces (https://answers.uillinois.edu/ and answers.uillinois.edu/systemoffices). Group Spaces are composed of campus and department groups from the University of Illinois.
Why would my department/college use the KB?
The KB is an easy and comprehensive application for sharing University knowledge. This is the first University of Illinois application for providing online help to our community of faculty, staff, and students. The KB allows you to share and utilize knowledge from all of the KB partner institutions. KB partners include Northwestern University, University of Maryland, Rice University, New Mexico State University and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. The University of Wisconsin-Madison developed and hosts this application since 2003.
