ATLAS Scheduler – Create Calendars
Click Login and login to Scheduler using your AD Login/Password.
Create a Calendar for a Classroom
Hover over the “Administration” tab in the upper left-hand corner and click “Calendars”.
Click “Manage Calendars”.
Click “Add New Calendar” at the bottom.
Type an appropriate name beside “Calendar Name”.
Click on the check box “Calendar is for a Room”. The Calendar Name will automatically be set to the room number and building.
Review the rest of the list and select check boxes when necessary.
- Publicly Visible - calendar can viewed by anybody, including visitors.
- Allow Simultaneous Events - enables multiple events to be schedules within the same time frame.
Indicate the earliest time and latest time events may be scheduled. Use the dropdown menus on the side to switch AM to PM.
Add a short description such as “30 seat computer classroom”.
Customize the calendar display page in the textbox below.
Preformatted text options can be chosen from the dropdown box on the left.
Click the tree icon on the far right to add a picture.
Highlight text and click the chain icon to create a link.
Click “Save”.
Create a Calendar for Non-classroom Use
Hover over the “Administration” tab in the upper left-hand corner and click “Calendars”.
Click “Manage Calendars”.
Click “Add New Calendar” at the bottom.
Type an appropriate name beside “Calendar Name”.
Leave the check box “Calendar is for a Room” unchecked.
Review the rest of the list and select check boxes when necessary.
- Publicly Visible - calendar can viewed by anybody, including visitors.
- Allow Simultaneous Events - enables multiple events to be schedules within the same time frame.
Add a short description such as “staff training calendar”.
Customize the calendar display page in the textbox below.
