ATLAS Scheduler – View and Address Conflicts
Click Login and login to Scheduler using your AD Login/Password.
View Conflicts
To see if a request has a conflict hover over the “Requests” tab in the upper left-hand corner and click “View Existing Requests”.
Locate the request in question and click “View Request”.
If the request has a conflict, the following message will appear in red text, Event has # conflict(s) (scheduled) and # conflict(s) with tentative events
- # conflicts (scheduled) - Amount of conflicts with previously approved requests.
- # conflicts with tentative events - Amount of conflicts with other pending request
Address Conflicts
Edit the request to correct errors
Hover over the “Requests” tab in the upper left-hand corner and click “View Existing Requests”.
Locate the request in question and click “View Request”.
Click “Edit” underneath the Meeting Time heading.
Change information such as the date, start/end time, or calendar in order to remove the conflict.
Click “Update Meeting Time”.
Disallow the creation of conflicting requests
Hover over the “Administration” tab in the upper left-hand corner and click “Request Rules and Dates”.
Click “Calendar Selection Options”.
Deselect “Allow clients to choose calendars for events that may have conflicts” (the check box should be empty).
Click “Update”.
Now when making a request, users will no longer be allowed to make a request that conflicts with a previously approved request.
Deny Request
Hover over the “Requests” tab in the upper left-hand corner and click “View Existing Requests”.
Locate the request in question and click “View Request”.
Click “Cancel Request”.
In the drop down menu choose “Denied”.
Confirm by clicking “Cancel Request”.
