Illinois AnyWare, How to Connect

You can connect to Illinois AnyWare through the Windows App or using the AnyWare site in a web browser.

Connect Using the Windows App

The campus VPN is not required to connect to Illinois AnyWare.

  1. Download and install the Windows App from https://windows.cloud.microsoft/#/download

  2. Launch the Windows App and sign in with your university email and password.

  3. Once Logged into the Windows App you will see the desktops you have access to.

Connect through a web browser

    1. Navigate to https://anyware.illinois.edu in your browser of choice.

    2. On the home screen click the button AnyWare Virtual Lab.

    3. You will then be prompted to sign in with your university email and password.
    4. Once Logged into the web client you will see the desktops you have access to.
