The Athletics feature can be found on the Browse tab of the Illinois app. Once you tap Athletics, you will see the options made available to you including Upcoming Events and News. 

Feature Requirements

1. To find Fighting Illini Athletics news, tap Browse.
2. Tap Athletics
3. Tap News
4. To explore news about a particular Illini sport, tap the field next to Filter by and choose the sport you wish to follow.

My Game Day

Note: For this more focused experience the Illinois app will require Privacy setting 4.  Doing this will allowing to favorite particular sports and will utilize your location to find Fighting Illini events.

My Game Day will help you receive a more personalized experience with the Athletics feature.  By favoriting the sports you are most interested, the app will show you more stories, highlights and scores about them. 

Here is how to take advantage of My Game Day:

1. Tap Browse then Athletics.  
2. Tap My Game Day
3. Scroll down to the All Illinois Sports section or just tap Teams in the upper right corner.
4. Tap the checkmark to the right of each Illinois sport you wish to follow. You can choose as many as you wish.

In addition, you may 'favorite' news stories and events by tapping the star to the right of the title. Adding an event to your favorites will put it among your My Events list for easy access. 

Likewise, adding a news story to your favorites will put it in your My Athletics News list.

Game Day Guide

The Illinois Athletics Game Day Guide is available to you via the Illinois app.  The Game Day Guide will help facilitate your experience as a fan of Illinois sports.  It includes ticket and seating info as well as directions, parking information and list of promotions.

To access the Game Day Guide, follow these steps:

1. Tap Browse then Athletics.  
2. Tap My Game Day
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to the Explore Athletics section.
4. Tap Game Day Guide.
