Canvas@Illinois, Turnitin, Comparing Assignment Types

Turnitin within Canvas offers you a couple of ways to create an originality detection assignment: you can create an assignment using the Plagiarism Framework, or you can create an assignment using LTI 1.3. The Plagiarism Framework integration is designed to work within Canvas' assignment workflow, while the LTI integration is designed as an External Tool that works within Turnitin's interface.
