Networking, Iris, Cannot search MAC addresses
- Use Iris to search for a MAC address that definitely exists.
- Make sure the proper network is selected on the "Search for MAC address" line. If searching the proper network fails, then there is an Iris issue.
- If that search fails, is it possible that the MAC address simply does not exist on that network?
- Compare the results to the results of searching for the same MAC address in the IPPortMac portlet (under the IT Pro tab) at https://my.uillinois.edu/. This is a broader search that will search across all the networks to which you have access in Contacts Database (CDB).

Also, include any other details that may assist with troubleshooting the issue (e.g. error messages, steps taken to troubleshoot, etc.), as well as your contact information.
