University Housing, Internet & TV in University Apartments

University Housing provides internet and television service to residents of Ashton Woods, Orchard Downs, and Goodwin-Green. Please note that Xfinity On Campus is no longer available at University Housing residence halls.

Goodwin-Green

Residents are provided with basic cable television through Xfinity, which can be accessed by using the Xfinity Stream application. For internet service, the apartments use IllinoisNet (the same network as the rest of campus). For help wit Wi-Fi, see Campus Wi-Fi, Getting Connected (Start Here)

Ashton Woods and Orchard Downs

Resident are provided with a 90-channel basic cable television package. You may order additional channels directly from Xfinity. The following items are provided to residents, and are needed for setting up the connections. Instructions for setting up can be found on the University Housing website.

  • 3 coaxial cables
  • coaxial splitter

High-speed internet service is provided by Comcast.
