ClassTech, Departmental Space Service Request

Classroom and Conference Media Engineering (CCME), also known as the Classtech Technicians, will provide service for departmental/non-general assignment classrooms.

Requesting Service for Departmental Spaces

Requests for audiovisual service in departmental classrooms will be triaged by the Technology Services Help Desk to the CCME technicians. The CCME technicians are available to work in any space on campus, regardless of the which department controls the space.

To request A/V service for a departmental space, please submit a Classroom Technology request, and include the following information in your ticket:

  1. A phone number the primary contact can be reached at.
  2. The building & room number that service is needed in. In the ticket form, please select Department for the Affected Room field.
  3. The equipment that is affected and needs service.
  4. CFOP account number for billing.
  5. Activity Code (if applicable).
  6. Dates & Times the classroom is available for service.
  7. Dates & Times the problem needs to be resolved by.
  8. Any additional information that may be relevant for the technicians, such as doors to use or if keys will be needed.
