- SANDBOX REFRESH - Scheduled for August 11th, 2023 at 3:00pm CDT.

- Ben Mosenthal is no longer a TDX Global Admin for the TDX at Illinois Service Team. He has a new assignment supporting Life Safety, but is still with Field Consulting within Tech Services.
- James Lockhart has replaced Ben as the new Global Admin for TDX at Illinois Service Team, working alongside Gary Kambic.

- Updated TDX service request form with new options such as:

- The U of I Main Advisory Group has been reestablished.
- The U of I Main Advisory Group is the governing body for the U of I Main Application and will provide the much-needed guidance and consistency for the shared U of I Main Application.
- Once completed, the Advisory Group will share documentation, processes, and guidance such as their charter, guidance surrounding naming conventions, and more.

- TDX 11.7 will be released on May 17th, 2023. Release notes will be available soon. These are the highlighted updates that impact U of I:
- Automatic Desktop Refresh: User desktops can be set to refresh automatically so that their content remains up to date when you reference them.
- Improvements to Workspace Settings: The Workspace settings pages have been updated to allow easier managing of workspaces.
- Formatted Ticket Response Templates: Administrators can use formatting in ticket response templates that matches the manual updates formatting.
- Project Update Templates: Projects now support Update Templates, which let you standardize project update information using formatted text.
- Notification Recipients Template Tag: Notifications can now include the information about who was notified directly in the notification body. Note: Any non-customized Notification Templates will include this info automatically. This includes both clients and technicians/etc (i.e. anyone who receives the notification), with no capability to filter.
- Support for Google Analytics 4 - client portals will be able to leverage GA4
- The Sandbox refresh is paused until August 2023.

- Sandbox refresh
- TeamDynamix will refresh sandbox instances. Any information will be lost as a result of the refresh. Please document your setup so you can recreate your sandbox instance.

- TDX-Teams Integration
- The TDX integration for Teams is intended for TeamDynamix TDNext users. Its searches happen within the context of the user who is logged in, and require you to have access as a technician, student tech, etc.

Once you've pinned the TDX app, click on it when you're composing a message to start a search. You can search TDX for any of the following work items:
- Tickets
- Assets
- Configuration Items (CIs)
- Articles
- Services
- Projects
- Issues
- Risks
- Project Tasks

- The U of I Main ticketing application will enable a feature that will allow those in the CC field of an email to be added as a contact to a ticket.
- This feature must be enabled by TDX Ticketing Application Admins for each ticketing application.
- Only individuals with a person-record in TDX will be added
- i.e. an @illinois, @uillinois, @uis, or @uic email address can be added. xyz@gmail, or other third-party email addresses without a person-record will not be added as contacts.
- The feature does not work with email addresses listed in the BCC field.
- The U of I Main ticketing application will enable a feature that will allow those in the CC field of an email to be added as a contact to a ticket.

- TeamDynamix upgrade from 11.3 to 11.4
- Site Search in the UIUC Tech Help Center is being improved to provide more accurate results.
- Ability to configure automatic closure of resolved tickets within a ticketing application.
- Ability to copy Services from sandbox to production.
- Transition to TDX’s new email service:
- Ability to define a different send-from email address at a ticketing application level.
- Ticketing application admins can convert to newer non-IMAP OAuth configurations, allowing for closer to real-time email processing

- November 5, 2021
- The production environment will be replicated to sandbox on Nov. 5 at 4:30 pm. Any work done only in the sandbox to date will be lost.
- July 7, 2021
- TeamDynamix does not allow for in-line responses to tickets via email. Notification templates will be updated to include a "--Please reply above this line--" edit to better guide customer responses. A message will be sent to all technicians to explain this change.

The TeamDynamix email service will now include continuous monitoring, non-IMAP options, reply detection, and failure handling. Do you want to reach email continuously? Do you need to migrate off IMAP? The system will use the current email service until you opt-in to the new service.

Multiple Custom Attribute Dependencies

In 11.3, you will be able to reuse child custom attributes with different parents by defining an attribute dependency and applying it to your forms. Your existing attribute dependencies will be automatically converted and applied.

TeamDynamix will now include the ability to define a Service Offering as a component of a Service in your catalog, in alignment with the ITIL model.

New 'Location' and 'Room' custom attribute types will allow administrators to define custom attributes that reference the Location and Room databases.
